Can baby movements knock you sick? Weird question😂

Hey, no idea if anyone has experienced this!

I’m 31 weeks tomorrow so baby movements are getting pretty strong now, last night though was insane! He usually moves quite a lot around 7 o’clock, low and behold he did, but a few of these movements were so big and almost like he was rolling over and trying to break out that it made me feel a bit sick and queasy and I went a bit light headed 🥴

I’ve never felt him move that strongly before, it didn’t hurt but it felt uncomfortable and kind of freaked me out 😂

Is this normal? After those few giant rolls he just seemed to go back to his normal little wriggles and kicks as if nothing ever happened haha. Am I just a wuss?

Perfectly normal to feel kinda freaked out by it, and it’s here to stay until you give birth now! It won’t happen all the time though, just now and again :) It makes me cringe a lot past a certain point and feel queasy too, thankfully I’m due on the weekend so not much longer to go for me!

Oh and no, you’re definitely not a wuss, it’s a very odd sensation!

I'm 30+4 and last night around 1am I had this and he normally never usually wakes me during the night until 5am/6am when he usually stirs. I said to my OH it was like he was trying to break out! It didn't hurt just very weird and very strong he has been transverse for weeks so wasn't sure if he was trying to move position. Like you just normal little movements since then so guessing its all normal!

Yeah. Very weird isn't it. My baby was breech right till the very end and when he turned.... felt like a scene from alien

Ha yes I’m 33 weeks and I get these between 10-11pm. It’s his dance party, I feel like he’s break dancing in there! It can feel very weird and uncomfortable!

I’m 38+4 and I had this a few weeks back. It’s just got progressively stronger as the weeks have gone on from then til now! It can get downright uncomfortable at times and makes me very eager for labour to begin!!!

This is a great article on kicks - from 20 weeks onwards they could kick hard enough to move a ball!

I'm 31 weeks on Thursday and I really find the movements weird sometimes.....i can handle the kicks and jabs but the big rolls and waves just feel really odd to me. It gives me a kind of motion sickness sometimes.
