I’ve been ttc my third baby with my partner. Since I’m breastfeeding my AF has been a bit everywhere. This month it is late but I have no idea when I ovulated as I’ve not been tracking it. I would have been due on a few days ago if I had a standard 28 day cycle, but I haven’t tracked my cycles long enough since they’ve came back to know what my normal cycle is now, and I know breastfeeding is likely to throw it off course anyway. AF returned nearly 3 months ago, I should be having my third now.
So I took some tests just before AF was due and they were BFNs , no doubt about it not even a hint of a line. So yesterday I took another test in the evening and saw the faintest of lines but wasn’t sure if it was an evap line. It came up within the time frame but was clearer when the dye had all travelled out. So I took two more tests (internet cheapies) and tested the same urine. The same thing happened with them too. I Couldn’t even take a picture because it’s so faint. I know you’re not supposed to read them after 5 minutes but when I looked this morning the lines on all 3 tests were thinner than the control line. So I took another test with fmu (id drank a lot in the night so not sure how concentrated it was) and again a very faint line, if anything even harder to see than last night.
In the past when I’ve taken these tests I’ve not even seen anything I could potentially think is a line. They’re all from the same box.
i know all’s I need to do is buy a early detection test but I’ll have to order one online. My local supermarket is quite small and only sells clear blue digital which I know aren’t as sensitive.
Surely they can’t all be evap lines?
I know there’s no way of knowing for sure unless I test again in a few days but its frustrating, especially when you’re really hoping for a positive.
