Will we now need to wear face coverings to all appointments?

@Hatepickinganame I can't either! I wear glasses and every time I take a breath my glasses steam up! It's madness!
My cousin had her baby girl in April, in the middle of all of this and she wasn't told to wear one then!
Hopefully it will just be for appointments and hospital visits but not actual labour! 😬

I didn't wear one to my 20 week scan but that was a few months ago now (scary!) but I get given one to wear at each of my midwife appointments. When I go into the surgery I'm directed to a station with gloves and masks to put on.

I’m with a busy London hospital and for the last few weeks you have to wear one. However they did say you won’t be expected to in labour luckily!!

@Avearage yes I assumed so. I had to take one of ours kids to the hospital last week (she's broken her thumb and had to go to hand therapy) and most patients/visitors were wearing them and all staff.

Yes I went to an appointment with one on 😳.... I felt sick and breathless however wore as per guidance however trying to sort with work as they expect me back after shielding even though I'm 28 weeks at that point and they way full ppe mask apron gloves..... I can't see being able to wear this a whole shift without making myself feel ill!!
Also they seem to have just dismissed the fact at that point 30th June I fall into the 28wk category still with all the issues I had whilst shielding apparently there robust risk assessment will protect me whilst working in a care home 🤔
