I’m trying to eat better now I’m in the second trimester but still get nausea and aversions To smells/food. Today I’ve had a good day apart from vomiting back up my breakfast 😕. I’ve been feeling guilty because my diet hasn’t been the best as I’ve had bad ms and had to eat what I could. What have you ate? I’ve had so far-

Plain yoghurt with strawberries and chopped nuts
Glass of orange juice
Mini croissant
Homemade cheese ploughman’s with salad
A jam and cream doughnut 😬
Glass of coke
Grapes and a baby bel

Don’t feel guilty about the coke it’s what I crave and let myself have one a day 🙂

I feel like I'm not eating enough Confused

I've had 2 half pints of squash, a large bowl of strawberries, a protein shake and a bowl of garlic pasta with some veg

RaN88 · 05/06/2020 17:02

The aversions are getting to me too, literally hate the smell of the kitchen as a whole!! And my house and my perfume and my favourite foods. Today I managed: plain pom bears, mozzarella cheese ball, avocado, white cucumber roll and mixed nuts. I stomached all of it, yay!

Catherine1210 · 05/06/2020 17:22

Natural yogurt with blueberries

Cheese and cucumber sandwich on brown

2 caramel rice cakes.

Yet to have my evening meal and undecided what I fancy Hmm xx

Large bowl of cereal (fruit & fibre)
Slice of sourdough with butter & honey
Chicken & cheese quesadilla made with 1 wrap (+ toddlers leftovers Blush)
A nectarine
An apple
A bit of melon
A bit of a Chelsea bun
Having pork mince bolognese for tea shortly, probably followed by chocolate ice cream.
Smile

@RaN88 I’m exactly the same! Opening the fridge and kitchen cupboards is the worst!
For the first trimester I hated the smell of my husband too! He couldn’t sleep in our bed till I was just over 12 weeks because the smell of him made me gag 😂. Luckily that’s gone now and I like his smell again.

@Pinktruffle I felt the same for weeks as I couldn’t stomach anything and I actually lost a stone, just eat what you can though and a pregnancy multivitamin helped me not feel too bad about lack of nutrients x

I had some cornflakes for breakfast and some homemade tomato soup for lunch. Plus a pack of walkers baked crisps as a snack.
I’m 12 weeks and still struggling with sickness and aversions :( it’s worse in the evening so I will often just have another bowl of cereal instead of a proper dinner.

mouse1234567 · 05/06/2020 18:23

I’m far along and have been so lucky not to suffer from sickness.

Breakfast -two wholemeal toast and 2 boiled eggs

Snack-cheese

Lunch-lentil soup with kale

Snack-cheese and satsuma, few crisps

Dinner-chicken with roasted veg and focaccia

Perhaps some choc tonight as I started maternity leave today?!Baby is measuring big tho so trying my hardest to avoid sugar.

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, toast, cherry tomatoes.
Lunch: Salad, roll, a bit of pork pie, a few cocktail sausages, strawberries, cream, meringue, and a little slice of lemon cake (PIL visiting so bit of a picnic lunch).
Afternoon snack: couple of MIL’s home made biscuits.
Dinner will be a takeaway curry. I got really envious after there was a thread about a woman panicking about having a takeaway every night for two weeks 😂

Not exactly the healthiest day and I paid for it a bit when I vomited spectacularly after my run this afternoon (I’m 18 weeks, had HG but am over the worst of it now) but I’m not going to let that stop me feeding my curry craving! Any curry recommendations before I order are appreciated!

Breakfast - Porridge with berries and chia seeds

Lunch - 100% rye bread with ham, cheese and sliced pickles (gherkins?)
Snack - A couple squares of chocolate 😬
Dinner - Ham, cheese and red pepper omelette 🤤

We ordered a Nando's yesterday and it was divine.

UrsulaSings · 05/06/2020 19:44

I've had coco pops for breakfast
Glass of orange juice
2 x crumpets with butter and Philadelphia
Packet of skips
Twix
Granola bar
Naked rice pot
Fried halloumi with tomato & olive rice for dinner
1/2 pack wine gums
2 x choc biscuits

You lot are well healthy!!

heroineinahalfshell · 05/06/2020 20:00

30 weeks here.
B: cornflakes and a cup of tea
L: mini lamb koftas and sweet potato falafels with sour cream & chive dip (from Sainsbury) and a small packet of hula hoops, glass of iced tea.
Snack: a pear, and a club biscuit with another cup of tea (too much caffeine today, I usually try to stick 2 teas at most!)
D: homecooked oven chips, BBQ ribs, corn on the cob and coleslaw. Alcohol-free lager. Probably a fruit yoghurt for dessert (I want a mini magnum but feel today's already been quite unhealthy compared to my normal diet!)

mouse1234567 · 06/06/2020 16:45

I'm really struggling with food too! I tend to have the same thing every day -

3 x weetabix with milk - breakfast

Ham/cheese sandwich or toastie - lunch

Banana and nectarine with yoghurt on - 4pm ish

Then pretty much after that I'm in vomit territory 🙄🤮 so anything that stays down. Which isn't much. Sometimes I can't stomach anything except toast xx

Milkshake54 · 06/06/2020 19:59

Breakfast: 2 weetabix, chopped banana and milk (only managed 1.5 before it was making me gag.

Lunch: Afternoon tea at a social distance with friends - 4 mini finger sandwiches, 2 mini sausage roll, 2 cheese on toast minis and a scone with cream and jam

Snack: a handful of sweets

Dinner: jacket potato with cheese and beans
