Please tell me the nose isnt THAT BIG!

Okay before I get the backlash from this post, let me say: THIS IS ALL IN GOOD FUN. I LOVE MY BABY. IM LAUGHING ABOUT THIS. HIS APPEARANCE WONT AFFECT HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM....

Okay so i had a 3d scan today with my husband and our jaws dropped to the floor when we saw our babys profile... omg he looks like a child or an adult. Like the queens head on the side of a coin.
My husband and his family have mahoosive noses but i didnt expect it to be that..erm IN YOUR FACE! Especially for a baby. As i thought they have squashed noses for breastfeeding until they grow older. Can i get someones opinion? Does it look out of proportion? Is it normal? I dont care as i love my husbands nose, it makes me laugh i cant wait to see my baby. I just want to know why it looks so...fully formed?

This is not the same thing obviously, but I recently found some old videos of our cat when she was a kitten. I used to tease her that she had oversized 'dumbo ears' and a really, really long tail. Looking back, she really did. But she grew into them, almost like she was born with them full adult size

First off what a lovely little face your baby has! Most 3D scans they look so squashed and a bit weird looking and yours have a lovely well proportioned face! I think there is a slight angle on the profile and making the nose look bigger than it is but like you said who cares!
3D & 4D scans really creep me out (sorry if I offend anyone with that opinion) but yours doesn't as he's just there looking pretty cool about everything when most are squished!
We have witch noses in my family so I hold out no hope for my babies either 😂

Omg same! There are so many squished 4d images. But baby "eric" seems to have lots of room in there bless him!. Im sorry youre having a bad day xx hopefully my babys large and in charge nose cheered you up a bit. Its certainly making me chuckle! Xxx

Your baby will be born with a normal nose. They always look huge on the 3D scans.

Aww I think it's a gorgeous 3d scan (and normally I find them a bit 😬😬).

If I get a 3D scan that’s the first thing I’ll be looking at - I had a Roman nose (nose job got rid of that many years ago) and recently noticed my OH has a bit of a wide nose 😂

I won’t be saving for uni fees, I’ll be saving for rhinoplasty surgery 😂😂😂

My DS looked like he had a massive nose on a normal 2D scan and DH was instantly saying “oh God not my nose on my baby son!” (He’s not exactly got a massive nose either but it’s something he was self conscious about for a long time) - I said it’ll be a proud nose then - when he arrived with his twin sister it was a nice normal baby button nose - it’s bigger now obviously as they’re 2yo and his is larger than his sisters, but it suits him

Wow what a beautiful scan picture!! I had this in a 2D scan! Even the doctor commented on it! She said “wow your baby has a huge nose, does your husband have a big nose as she didn’t get that from you” 🤣 my husband doesn’t have a big nose either, I had nightmares about her having a hook nose, but when she was born and still to this day she has the cutest button nose!

I don't think it will be that big in real life. Even people with the Eiffel tower for a nose used to have quite cute noses as a baby. But it could be a sign of things to come maybe....

We make jokes that our baby looks like Charlie Brown because his nose is sticking out so much in the scan photo!

He looks very calm and happy in there! I think he looks adorable OP, nose and all.

Just in case it makes you feel better.. my daughters nose looked like a giant beak on her 12 week scan... she has a perfect little nose now...! X

That's such a cute 3D scan, a gorgeous baby! I have a friend whose baby was born with a MASSIVE nose. By about 3 months his nose was still big but more in proportion to his face, and by about a year his nose looked perfectly normal. Don't worry OP!

Don’t sweat it, OP. You’ll think he’s the most beautiful thing ever and won’t be able to actually see his huge honker, even if other people do. Nose blindness.
