Hi how long did everyone’s NT combined blood results take to come back? Currently panicking and letter says will be 3-4 weeks but surely it shouldn’t be that long. When did you get your results if in the UK? Thanks M x

I think it was 2 weeks for mine but there could be a backlog with the current situation.
Most importantly, I think every trust calls you within a week if it comes back high risk so, if you're just waiting for the letter, it's good news.

I had my tests done on Monday, was told I'd receive a call with in the week if something is wrong, but otherwise it will be weeks.

Foreverbaffled · 05/06/2020 09:23

How strange! I had my scan Tuesday afternoon and got results (low risk) by letter yesterday so two days later. Was told I’d get a call by end of week if concerning news and letter within 5 days if not. Most labs have a 1-3 day turnaround with bloods.

Megansmummy89 · 05/06/2020 09:34

Thanks for your reply’s. I had my bloods done on Monday afternoon so hopefully I won’t get any calls. Foreverbaffled wow that was a quick turnaround for a letter. Hope my letter comes soon I’m no good with being patient x

I had mine done on Wednesday. Nt measurement at 11w5 2.8 so I'm a bit concerned what the overall results will be. Scan looks so different to 'usual'...

Was told a letter should come within 2 weeks but may be delays if lower risk or phone call within a week if higher risk. I think it must vary on your area

Good luck and wishing you a healthy pregnancy

I had mine done a few weeks ago on the Tuesday and got a letter back saying low risk on the Friday! Was really surprised at the quick turn around. When looking at the results they were generated on the Tuesday so same day then took a couple of days for the admin side of things to get the letter to me.

Megansmummy89 · 05/06/2020 09:52

Mine was the same 2.8 at 12 weeks 4 days. They did say below 3.5 was normal but it still worried me. They took a few measurements some were 2.2 2.3 but they went with the highest 2.8.
Thank you same to you hope you get results soon and have a healthy pregnancy x

I think for 12-13 that's within fine though I've read a bit of differing information
Just trying to remember it's a combined test, it's the waiting that's hard isn't it

All the best, sending love

Megansmummy89 · 05/06/2020 11:06

Yes I’ve read that even people with a low NT have had high odds so a lot must go off the bloods and other factors like age. It’s still hard not to worry though. Thanks same to you xx

I’m 18 weeks and still haven’t had mine back. They retook bloods at my 16 week app, so it’s 2 weeks since then. I’m assuming I am low risk x

Megansmummy89 · 05/06/2020 13:45

Hope I have results before 18 weeks I can’t wait that long 🙈 I’m not even seeing anyone for 16 week appointment it’s just a telephone appointment due to coronavirus xx

They told me it could be a few weeksand in the post if low risk but would be 3 days and a phone call if high. In the end I got it exactly 7 days later in the post (low risk).
