HELP - ICP/ obstetric cholestasis 2nd Pregnancy

Hello,
I m nearly 14 weeks pregnant and tonight I had a terrible itch on the back of my hands, no rash etc. In my first Pregnancy I suffered from OC but wasn't diagnosed until half way through 2nd trimester and my itching did not start this early.
I have read OC usually occurs later on in pregnancy but it is possible that it can start early, as early as 8 weeks
I m going to contact my EPU tomorrow but I just wanted to know if someone who has OC in their first Pregnancy, did it happen in your second Pregnancy too? And if it did how early did the itching start?

Hi, I don't have any advice really. I had obstetric colestasis in my 1st pregnancy but it wasn't diagnosed until quite late on and I was rushed into hospital to have an emergency induction.

I'm pregnant again but only 6 weeks so I'm expecting the same again. I put it on my registration form (for the midwives) so hopefully they will monitor it from early on this time. The itching drove me mad 😬 so I'm not looking forward to it.
