Positive test one evening then negative test the next morning

Please help, I’m on mini pill and had some pregnancy symptoms so took a test, came back positive so was very shocked. Still not convinced I’m actually pregnant so took test the next morning and it’s negative. What does this mean?

Hi help wanted im very confused atm iv been trying for a baby with my partner for 4 years weve been together 10 iv never caught on or had any sign of pregnancy till recently period was late last month by 5 days took a test came back faint positive so gave urine sample to docs they said negative then started to bleed lightly for 3 days on and off then took another test came back faint positive again gave blood sample in they said negative again its been 2 months now i dont feel myself and im still testing faint positive plz help

Hello, there maybe different reasons. I am happy to share as I was in the unknown over a week ago myself. I got my first positive (Sainsbury’s test) took digital next day cane negative ( now I know digital are not as sensitive) took pink tests and came positive. The tests have various points of hcg detection some 20 and some 25 and when you’re very early one may detect while the other will not and you’re advised to wait a couple of days as the levels should double. I waited but mine did not continue doubling and lines started getting more faint. I went to get blood test and a repeat a few days later and unfortunately I had chemical pregnancy. I hope it goes well for you and best is to speak to early pregnancy unit so you’re not worried on your own.

This is not uncommon if you are very early as the hcg levels are so low and tests vary in sensitivity.
Have you missed a period yet?
I would wait a few days then do a pink test if possible.

Hi ladies thank you and iv been bleeding so im so confused but it doesnt feel or look like my usual period its too light and im still testing positive though very faint i went to early preg unit last month they cant do anything unless i come positive on there urine test which i came back negative x

Thank you already been down that route im on way to the doctors to try and get some answers x

Thanks, if I’m pregnant I’m guessing I’m already about 7 weeks. The 2 pregnancy tests were from shop (2 pack pink dye wilkos ones). Could my hcg be too high in first morning urine. Going to buy another test today
