Go on...give me your best hospital bag labour snacks/food must have’s! It’s the last thing on my list now! Grin

Had plenty of my favorite candies packed but didn’t feel like eating those during labor. What was really good to have, though, was a large bottle of yellow Fanta. Sugary drink to give fluids and energy. And the candies were great for the next days in hospital, so I’d still pack loads! I also drank loads and loads of sparkling water in the few days after birth.

Honeydew melon!! It was perfect because it was soft and cool. I cut up a whole melon.. i had half when I was in labour and snacked on the rest throughout the hospital stay.

Anything full of sugar for labour but ALL the snacks for after. Was so bloody hungry and the food provided didn't hit the spot. I was in for 4 days and DH would go via the M&S in the lobby before coming up!

@babyt2020 hospitals normally give jugs of water with ice in so you could always ask for a jug of ice and then you can pour your drinks over some ice?
