We have had 2. But only because we don't have many where we are and the restaurants totally shut down. But now many are reopening as take away so hope to use more frequently now

Em308 · 30/05/2020 22:35

Nope - don't want some random cooking my food. I don't they socially distance while cooking the food!

Crabbo · 30/05/2020 22:36

Yep, we get one every week.

curtainsforme · 30/05/2020 22:37

Bloody loads. We have been renovating the house and when it gets to 8/9pm after working hard all day none of us can cooking Grin

Fatted · 30/05/2020 22:38

Loads OP.

In all honesty, you've probably got more chance of getting food poisoning than coronavirus.

BeHappyAndSmile · 30/05/2020 22:38

I've been single handedly keeping the local takeaways in business during the lockdown. Exhaustion plus only being able to stomach crap food means its been my life saver lately 😂

DrDreReturns · 30/05/2020 22:43

Yes we had an Indian about a month ago.

sel2223 · 30/05/2020 22:47

at least one a week lol

toomuchteaandcake · 30/05/2020 23:46

I'd have gone insane without takeaways. No exaggeration

AlpineSnow · 30/05/2020 23:49

I've had 5. Sometimes i get one as I'm bored. Prelockdown I'd go months without having one

ChristmasCarcass · 30/05/2020 23:51

Yep! If they are following proper food hygiene standards, there’s no risk. And if they aren’t, I’m more concerned about food poisoning than covid.

We’ve been getting takeaways from places we have used for years and trust. No anxieties about it at all.

caringcarer · 30/05/2020 23:58

Not for first month. Then Chinese opened for delivery only. Two weeks blaster Indian opened for delivery only. Last week KFC opened for drive through. Fish and chips opened for collection. You have to ring order in and they give you time to collect. Pay on phone with card. After first month we had 2 takeaway each week to cheer us up on lock down.

thishouseisashittip · 31/05/2020 00:03

Not one single one 😔

krispcreme · 31/05/2020 00:20

At least once a week. As pp said I'm more worried about food poisoning than covid from a takeaway so I stick with our usual 5 star hygiene rating takeaways.

Diverseduvet · 31/05/2020 00:30

Once, for a birthday

shinynewapple2020 · 31/05/2020 00:32

Is this just for during pregnancy? I e had takeaways but definitely not pregnant!

ChocolatelyAsFuck · 31/05/2020 00:35

A Tibetan takeaway place opened up near me. Leaflet through the door.

Well, it would be rude not to, wouldn’t it?

NishaaS123 · 31/05/2020 10:35

Haha love to see everyone has been enjoying there takeaways I definitely enjoyed the pizza :D

ChasingRainbows19 · 31/05/2020 10:39

We've had chippy regularly and a burger takeaway and a couple of from local restaurants. Oh and cakes for my birthday from a bakery. Also had a local bar delivery too. Grin

I've been working in a hospital throughout so more risk there then from food or packaging in my eyes. I'm not a washer of shopping or takeaways just good hand hygiene. Also got to support local small business too!

RenegadeMrs · 31/05/2020 11:09

Every time I ask my OH to cook an evening meal.Hmm so about once a week.

curtainsforme · 31/05/2020 12:32

Ohhh OP sorry. I totally misunderstood here.

I'm not pregnant. I didn't even notice it was the pregnancy topic until someone pointed it out Blush

That said, I would still be eating them if I was pregnant - just maybe not as many Grin

Pleasenodont · 31/05/2020 12:59

We’ve had a couple and will be getting dominos on Tuesday for DD’s birthday. We plate it up, throw the packaging away and wash hands before eating. It’s been absolutely fine.

AlpineSnow · 31/05/2020 13:14

I'm not pregnant either, just saw the thread in Active but I've not caught corona off the 5 takeaways I've had so thought that might be helpful.
