Do cramps always=misscarriage

So I'm asking for a friend because she's too scared to ask. So she's just found out 2 days ago she's pregnant so she'll be about 4 weeks, it's not her first baby she's got other child but she's had a miscarriage and prem baby before
She's been having period type cramps she's had since she's found out, but with no bleeding. She thinks this will just lead to a miscarriage due to the pains, it's a full ache mostly. Could she still have a successful pregnancy with this pain?

Definitely! I had cramps like period pains until about 10 weeks. I believe it's just your uterus stretching. Tell your friend good luck!

That's just implantation and your uterus adapting and changing. I had it for a few weeks from 4 weeks onwards. It passed and is totally normal.

Same here. Lots of period type cramps for the first few weeks! But so far so good! The early days are always hard because it's all such new news. She just needs to take it one day at a time and the days will start adding up.

Cramping is absolutely normal in early pregnancy, I had cramps up until around 11 weeks. Currently 40 weeks today!

I had period like cramps intermittently for the first couple of weeks. Now nearly 12 weeks and no issues so far!

Yes! For me I had period like cramps before my missed period and was convinced I was coming on. I’m now 20+3 and still have occasional cramps but I put it down to things growing and stretching

I had cramps for a few weeks after getting my BFP. Constantly felt like my period was going to start, it was a horrible worrying feeling. Have had this for all three of my pregnancies.
