Anyone miscarry after seeing heart beat ?? Worried

Hi I'm 7 weeks + 5 last week I started bleeding bad pain etc blood was brown then reddy pink seen at hospital who scanned me heart beat seen at 6+3 the bleeding subsided a bit all week and was only there on bleeding tonight again bleeding has started and it's more red and have the pain again last week while bleeding they said cervix was closed couldn't see a reason for bleeding and heart beat was strong now I'm panicking that this weekend I'll miscarry as I've no idea why I'm getting this pain and bleeding. Has anyone else had this? 😞

No advice for you, but in answer to your question - yes, I miscarried after a normal 8 week scan. Good luck.

I've had both - unexplained bleeding throughout a healthy pregnancy, and miscarriages after seeing a strong heartbeat.

I have seen a heartbeat at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and had another scan at 10 and half weeks but babies heartbeat stopped at 9 weeks and 4 days

Happened to me too, had bleeding at 7 weeks, had a scan at EPU and saw HB and measured at 6w4d. Had a scan 2 weeks later (brown discharge had continued and red bleeding episodes too) and there was still a HB and measured on track for 9 weeks. A week and a half later of more brown discharge, then had clots starting to appear too and scan confirmed HB had stopped a few days before.

Sorry this isn't reassuring but the only reassurance I found was being examined / having a scan. I know the EPU may not be doing scans currently with the situation but maybe give them a call or go for one privately if you have the option.

I saw my first baby at 7 weeks with a HB and went on to have a normal pregnancy after several bleeds.
My second baby I saw HB at 7 weeks after a bleed, bled again and unfortunately baby had died at 9+3 😢
My third baby I bled twice, didn’t have an early scan and she was fine. Turned 1 today. It really could go either way but I’ve got everything crossed for you.

I know you are worried OP but your title asks people if this has happened, and it will have happened to a large proportion of the readership here who are mostly female, often mothers and often have been through multiple pregnancies. It does mean it has happened to your or will happen to you. It doesn’t mean it won’t.

Statistically studies vary massively suggesting miscarriage rates of 5-20% in the 6/7th weeks of pregnancy. But that means a large majority will be fine. I hope yours will be fine. To answer the question it has happened to me three times with miscarriages at 15, 18 and 19weeks pregnancy, with no cause or reason found.

Yes but was at 22 weeks, after HB fine at 21 weeks (just slightly small for dates). No. Bleeding though.
Previous pregnancy bleeding at 11 weeks but all was fine and pregnancy went well.
