Hi all, I had spotting at around 7 weeks, when I went for a private scan I found out that I’m having identical twins. I’m so happy, but now I’m around 9w3d and the spotting has come back a little brighter and with light cramps. I’m so worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Or bleeding throughout a twin pregnancy? Thanks

Yes I did, turned out it was I think a sub chorionic heamatoma and didn't cause any more issues ra all. I also had a bleed at 12 weeks and that was something to do with the placenta being anterior and moving over my cervix.

It was over ten years ago so I can't quite remember the detail!

Wishing you all the best

I’m currently 19 weeks, I bled from 5-8 weeks on and off, I think I My cervix was irritated and bled. Bleeding with twins is fairly common though.

I bled a lot in the first 12 weeks. It was caused by a heamatoma, more common with twins. Everything was fine.

How did your scan go?

Unfortunately they couldn’t find a heartbeat with either of my babies, Im supposed to be 9+4 but they measured 8+5, I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow do double check but I think I know that they are both gone. Thank you for your help and I wish you a healthy pregnancy x
