I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Got some light spotting earlier today which is now more than spotting. Do I need go to a and e/ early pregnancy unit? Or do I just wait?

If you're only 4 weeks it's too early for a scan to pick anything up. You could request a HCG blood test from the GP. That will confirm levels, but would have to be repeated after 2-3 days to assess increase.
Thanks

At 4 weeks, without any signs of an ectopic pregnancy, I would just wait.

If you are going to miscarry, there is nothing to be done. If you're having implantation bleeding, there is nothing to be done.

4 weeks it's often implantation bleeding or your period coming late (I've had both of these multiple
Times) - I think it's more that time will tell at this stage
Good luck

@physicskate would it be an implantation bleed if I've already had a positive pregnancy test?

Could be, yes. There are many possible causes of a bleed. Many aren't related to miscarriage. Of course, bleeding can also indicate miscarriage, unfortunately. And only time will tell.
