Hi. I have been a little concerned about how low my bump is for several weeks but recently I have been feeling little kicks very low down and a lot of pressure in my vagina and occasional shooting pains. Anyone else had the same? Is this normal?

Hiya, I had exactly the same around that time and was concerned. It was uncomfortable to walk around for long because of the pressure.
I’m now coming up to 24 weeks and those feeling have completely gone.
Still get low down kicks, but also high up ones too, whereas before they were only low.

Hope that helps a bit x

I had exactly the same at about 18-20 weeks, almost felt like baby was about fall out! I went to the doctor and had a UTI but they also said it was completely normal to get that pressure. A few weeks later it definitely improved loads as baby got higher up :)

I have a low bump too and my baby boy is sitting right on my bladder! He's not high up at all! I get the same pains and the crap beaten out of me in a daily basis 😝
I'm 22 weeks now and I've been feeling my boy kick from around 18 weeks.
The pain isn't there all the time and he did sock me right by my ribs today, but which limb that was I don't know! 😂

Hi, I’m 33 weeks and it’s not my first pregnancy. I’ve has this pretty much from when yours started, and it just feels like I’m carrying her very low. I’m also experiencing a very swollen genital area (sorry TMI!) from all the pressure...

Do you have an anterior placenta? It’s the only difference for me this time round and thought it might explain things. I’ve also had excruciating punches down in the rectal/vaginal area - it really felt like some were inside my vagina! - but it shifted to more usual belly areas as she grew.

Hope yours goes away like for the PP - I‘ve found this such a tiring pregnancy.
