Did your midwife advise routine lung and heart check?

Hello everyone, I am 16 weeks pregnant now with my first baby. At my booking appointment at 8 weeks, the midwife said I should make an appointment for a routine lung and heart check with my GP if I have never had one before (which I haven't). GPs have been closed for all routine appointments since then, so I haven't been able to book in for one and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone else heard of this or been told to book one of these? I'm low-risk, healthy BMI etc. so there are no reasons for concern especially! Thank you :)

Lung and heart check for you? No I've never heard of it.

I wasn't told anything about that - also low risk, low BMI and midwife led care.
If they didn't give you any specific reason I'd just leave it, it doesn't sound like something you'd need an urgent GP appt for at this time if they didn't even explain why you'd need it. Ask at your 16 week appointment if you haven't had it already Smile

Thanks guys, seems odd, maybe it's just a regional thing! I've always been fit and healthy so I'll try to stop worrying! Smile
