Hi, I just wondered if anyone had any advice.
I am 11 weeks pregnant and have died my hair with natural organic dyes for the first trimester as I was worried about using permanent ones (unfortunately have really bad greys and have done since early 20's). My hair Is really dark and just wondering if anyone else had used a permanent dye? :). Is it safe?

I had my hair done as usual throughout my pregnancy at the hairdressers, full head and foils. There is very little evidence to say that the amount of chemicals transferred during the process can cause any harm.
I did a lot of googling!

My midwife said it's absolutely fine :-) Although I haven't dyed my hair as I normally would because I cannot be bothered to queue at Boots just for a couple of boxes of dye.

I have bright red hair and have continued to dye it throughout after 12weeks.

Thanks guys, I think I might have my 12 weeks scan and then dye it permanently. I have read that it is safe, I just worry about everything but my hair is not looking the best right now lol. But you guys have given me reassurance! Thanks you for your replies :)

I dyed my hair to cover my greys throughout both of my pregnancies. It's fine to do.
