I've taken two Sainsburys test over the past 4 days which both had a faint positive line. However I took this test later in the day and it come up with the faintest line but I was just wondering if anyone else can see it. Or if it's just me!

Any opinions welcomes!

There is the faintest of something there. What cycle day are you on? Xx

cydb · 27/05/2020 08:38

I'm not really sure as I had a miscarriage on the 22nd of April. So it's been 5 weeks exactly from that 🤷‍♀️ I believe that I am on day 36 of my cycle though but with my PCOS my cycles are roughly 37 days xxx

I can’t see anything op sorry.

cydb · 27/05/2020 08:55

Don't apologise! It's only because I took 2 test with faint line and took this test after going a toilet twice before taking it. So just wanted peoples opinions. So I'm just going to re test on Saturday x

I'm afraid I can't see a line.

Had you had a negative test before the faint positives? They could have been reading remaining hCG from your miscarriage otherwise. I'm very sorry OP.

cydb · 27/05/2020 09:01

Yes my hcg levels dropped to about 8 from the blood test. I took a test a week later and it was negative. So they was assured that I was no longer pregnant. And I know it's extremely hard to see in the photo as I can barely see it in person ! So don't worry about it hun xx

Definitely can see a line on that blue one!

Hopefully it is just a case of hCG levels not being high enough yet to detect without using the first pee of the day. Wishing you luck for Saturday.

cydb · 27/05/2020 09:16

That's what both test came out like it was just the pink dye one that wasn't. Yeah hopefully it is just the case of the hcg levels being low at the moment! Thank you so much for help xx

@cydb blue tests are notorious for the dye leaking etc, pink tests are more reliable. Also, the first response only needs 6.5 miu to get a positive, they are the most sensitive on the market. I don’t want to be negative, just didn’t want you to get your hopes up yet. Good luck x

cydb · 27/05/2020 09:38

Yes I know I've heard they are known for evap lines and etc. Don't worry i wouldn't get my hopes up untill I've got a clear definite positive. I need to buy the first response test as I've heard they are really good. I only have the crappy answer one xx

I used Tesco own brand the other day, blue dye.. I got a faint positive. Took CB digital later that day and it was neg. First time I’ve ever used blue dye tests though, would not recommend

Leala20 · 28/05/2020 00:29

Hi, I am in a similar situation. Took Sainsbury’s test Saturday and first ever positive. I cried. Took a different one on Sunday very faint, then digital negative. First response the following day came faint but visible but another strip test ( the one nhs uses) negative. I am worried my levels are not picking up as the should and this maybe chemical ms. My breast is sore but it maybe period coming too, can’t tell the difference.
