Has anyone else got type 2 diabetes and currently pregnant?
I'm really struggling to keep my blood sugars under control and I'm worried what it will do to my baby. It doesn't help that I'm on a high dose of steroids. My diabetes is usually well controlled with metformin and diet but the blood sugars just seem to get higher! Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I have gestational diabetes so not the same but I would definatley say get in touch with your diabetes team. High blood sugar needs to be treated. I was on insulin injections by 17 weeks this time because mine were close to 10. I'm 4 weeks in and my insulin dosage is being increased regularly to keep my sugar at a good level. You won't be wasting anyone's time but you need to contact them
