Hi I'm wondering if anyone had painful stretching pains at 7 weeks? It is painful all across the bottom part of my stomach , I had a bleed last week managed to get scanned and they said can't find a reason and baby heartbeat was seen at 6+3 the bleeding is still there when I wipe sorry tmi, but I just feel in all honestly quite awful, I'm 39 so age not on my side as my kids are now 18 and 11 so don't know if I'm past it 😞 I also have a strange cyst that was picked up on a scan before pregnancy it's a nuke canal cyst so don't know if that's anything to do with the pain, surely a small 7 week baby wouldn't stretch me like this ! I'm driving hubby mad moaning with the pain all the time and I feel my tummy is a lot bigger. Any help appreciated xxx

Hi, dont know if i can help but wanted to say im 7+6 had a scan 10th may and they seen a cyst on my ovary so that has been causing me left sided pain and i have been bleeding well brown discharge ever since im actually going for a scan today to see if baby is alive but all this week ive felt loads of stretching and light cramping so i assumed my womb was growing for baby, maybe see if you can get another scan at some point?

Hi OP. I was in agony at 7 weeks and I ended up in the EPU ward thinking I was having an ectopic. They gave me a scan and baby was fine. I had a cyst in my Fallopian tube (there is a fancy name for it) and apparently it's a high functioning cyst that helps produce the hormones you need for a healthy pregnancy and it does go away eventually.
Whilst for most women it doesn't bother them but for some it causes a lot of pain.
At my 12 weeks scan it had gone and the sonographer said its had sorted itself out', which I presume means it's gone now.
I'm now 22 weeks and so far so good 🥰🥰🥰

To add, some paracetamol and a hot bath or shower should help. A hot water bottle used intermittently too helps.
My pain went away by week 9, you might just have to grin and bear it for a bit 😬😬😬
