Faint BFP followed by period then faint BFP?

Has anyone had this?

Last month I was getting very, very faint BFPs on different pregnancy tests. Then my period arrived so I thought it was either a chemical or just faulty tests.

Anyway I’m now 15 day’s after my period ended and I took another test (I don’t know why!) but I got another very faint BFP.

It can’t possibly be a new pregnancy because I’m 1/2DPO but if it was a pregnancy from the previous month surely the BFP would be very clear.

Has anyone had this? And what was the outcome?

Hi whatthebloodynora I know that pregnancy hormones can float around in the body a good couple of weeks after having been pregnant. I know this is the case as I’ve had few miscarriages and the pregnancy unit at hospital advised not to do preg test until 2 weeks after miscarry (to check i’m no longer pregnant and that the miscarry has been successful) as that’s when the hormones should have disappeared. I would (if you can hold out) re-test in another 10-14 days. Do you have any symptoms? It’s just a matter of time in this as that’ll give you an answer one way or another.
