Feel like I'm going to pop!

Hi ladies! I'm 22 weeks pregnant and my tummy is soooooo tight! I feel huge (I know I'm not, not yet anyway!) and I feel like I'm about to pop!
If I feel like this now, what on Earth am I going to feel like in 10-15 weeks time! 😫
I'm already struggling to bend over and put socks on etc! I just didn't envisage physically struggling so early on into my pregnancy!
Anyone else feel like?

I'm 25 weeks and while I don't feel like I'm going to pop, I'm definitely struggling - can't put shoes or socks on easily (thank goodness the weather is nice and I can get away with flip flops) or paint my toenails, or bend/reach over to grab things easily as my bump gets in the way! Every time I try to do one of those things and can't, it's not because I can't physically reach, it's that I feel like I'm squashing everything so much inside that I can't breathe 😂 And I also think wtf am I going to be like in 8, 10, 12 weeks time!? So I totally get how you feel!

Honestly you just get used to it and learn to do things in different ways!

BelfastNonBlonde · 25/05/2020 07:13

You learn to do everything spreadeagled 😂

lockdownpregnancy · 25/05/2020 08:24

@BelfastNonBlonde your post made me chuckle! 😂
Thanks ladies!
I'm a FTM so all a bit foreign to me when something 'new' starts going on with my pregnancy! 😬

People say it’s the most glorious time..

It has to be the most un-graceful time

Between being legs akimbo 24/7 (except when you need to keep them locked together just to turn over / get out of bed..) to the “waddle”, to cankles and sausage fingers... I’ve now also realised I’m a “heavy breather”..

At 40+5 today, this baby needs to get out of me already!

I'm 27 weeks and don't consider myself to have a huge bump for this far along. However I'm struggling to get comfortable in the evenings after I have my main meal, I can't sit upright on the couch because I feel like I can't bend in the middle 😭🤣 I have to pull the footstool infront of the couch and have my feet up laying right back practically horizontal. And then I worry I'm not supposed to be on my back!

I started struggling around 26 weeks or so and could not imagine getting bigger . It actually started feeling easier again though ( around 30 weeks) . I guess my body got use to it . And then around 34 weeks it got hard again and then around 37 weeks I started feeling good lol and then baby came !

@BelfastNonBlonde you sound fed up bless you! 😬
You're right, it's not a graceful or glamorous time at all. I just feel like the most unattractive heffer going! 😂
DH keeps telling me I look lovely but I beg to differ! 😝
I hope your baby comes soon! You really do sound like you're about to pop! 🤞

I'm 28 weeks now and I'm massive but this is baby number 2 and I have a very small torso at 4'11.
I now can't bend over at all and depending on baby's position I can't breathe either. Although he likes to spend a lot of time right done in my pelvis so it helps with the breathing but not the pressure. Its been like this since 20 weeks.

I'm 39 weeks and shaved my legs this morning, don't worry you get used to being beach ball shaped 😂

lockdownpregnancy · 25/05/2020 17:20

@Lemonysherbet bless you! I bet that felt like a win when you shaved them didn't it? 😂
I painted my toe nails the other day and I reckon I can probably get away with painting them again one more time a few more weeks before I'll have to go to my moms to get them done! 😂

@lockdownpregnancy oh yeh, everything I do I feel like I deserve a medal for it! I actually painted my toes 2 weeks ago. Couldn't reach them now though!

lockdownpregnancy · 25/05/2020 19:58

@Lemonysherbet it makes me laugh as the majority of us have actively put ourselves in this position and then just moan! 😂😂😂😂
I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end! 🥰🥰

@lockdownpregnancy haha yeh, pregnant through choice, I'm actually feeling pretty good considering the size of me!

lockdownpregnancy · 25/05/2020 20:39

@Lemonysherbet me too to be fair! Up to now I've done so well! There are some women on here that are really suffering the poor things!
To date, other than the odd crappy day and a quick trip to hospital I've breezed through most days! 😁 I'm one very lucky lady!
