How is everyone managing to rid of their unwanted hair????

I am 32 weeks pregnant. I can't really shave anything anymore and it's really getting to me!!!

I've just tried hair removal cream and a mirror and it kinda worked but it made me wonder how everyone else is managing?? I'd get a wax but with the virus that's out of the question 🤣

Might have to recruit my other half in to help!

I do what I can, OH finishes me off

There was no way I'd leave it. Would have hated that. As mentioned before I did it until 38 weeks, after which my husband did it. After giving birth I did it very carefully about a week later, couldn't stand it anymore.

I can't even see my bikini line to shave! Honestly, it's like a forest down there, going to try and keep on top of my bikini line and give it a good trim but as for shaving...forget it. I've currently got external piles and a random skin tag near baby's exit which has all occurred during pregnancy. Part of meet is mortified, the other just doesn't care right now. As long as I'm clean then I'm going to hope they've seen worse! x

The only thing I'll say is that I'm 5 days post birth and oh my god. Sharp shaving stubble and episiotomy stitches do not go together 😖 - I usually get waxed and so the hair grows back softer, but I let it slide a bit and then lockdown happened and so I started shaving. Doesn't answer your question of how (just interesting contortions and blind faith in my case) but just wanted to forewarn you. Ouch.

My OH uses a spare pair of clippers to keep mine tidy-ish until I can resume my ritual 😂

I had a wax at 32 weeks and turns out my skin had gone mega sensitive. It was literally swollen, burning & on fire. I had a scan the following day which ended up being internal and honestly I warmed the room up when I took my knickers off.

When I actually went into labour I lay in the bath and shaved myself as best as I could but I didn't really care by that point.

trust me the midwives do not care
however, you may be interested to know that in the dark and distant past, shaving pubic hair was routinely done on admission in labour.
why was it discontinued you ask?
because it was found to increase the rate of infection

I shaved down there for my previous pregnancies with a mirror. Not super tidy but better :)

I've been worrying about this :( I usually get a wax as shaving regrowth is SO painful and itchy. I'm only concerned if I need a c section and they end up shaving it. Regrowth plus bleeding and stitches is an unbearable thought
