I have had four miscarriages and have PCOS
I am currently pregnant again and saw a private gp who's prescribed me with cyclogest 400mg pessaries

Anyone been on these and have success stories?
Also did anyone get tummy ache on these and headaches? Worth it if this pregnancy succeeds. Thank you xz

I was put on them after 3 early losses, I have an 18month old and currently 33 weeks preg, definitely believe cyclogest is my success story! I had no side effects with them ... good luck hope they are success for you too 😁

Thank you! That fills me with hope!.
I've had all tests done and nothing they could fine but everytime I m/c my progesterone was really low so 🤞
And congratulations to you!! x

I have cyclogest with my first round of IVF. It made me bloated and super crampy but I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and I definitely think it's helped as I had low progesterone with my last miscarriage in 2018 😁

Congratulations!!

And that's helpful to know 🤞🤞 xx

I'm on Cyclogest after 2 miscarriages and I'm currently almost 12 weeks with a strong heartbeat at the scan last week. I've never gotten this far before so I think the Cyclogest is helping. I'm not sure what are the side effects and what are my pregnancy symptoms but I've been nauseous and very bloated since I started taking them. No headaches thankfully.

Kirstyvictoria12 · 24/05/2020 20:15

I'm prone to headaches/migraines due to hormones so I think that's what it is. thank you all these give me hope!
But congrats to you! I'm so happy for you and hope you continue to have a happy healthy pregnancy! 🤞

Also on cyclogest after 2 miscarriages, now pregnant and 25 weeks almost and I do think they helped (along with a few other meds I was put on).

Side effects for me were really bad bloating and occasionally a headache but that may have been a coincidence.

Good luck OP!

I'm using it and it's definitely helped lengthen my luteal phase which is why I was offered it. I haven't noticed too many side effects. Good luck!

I am also using cyclogest after miscarriages, I have made it to 11 weeks. I am also prone to headaches/migraines and they have been really bad particularly in the last two weeks. I have also had really bad cramps, not sure if this is related to pregnancy alone or if cyclogest makes them worse

How long has everyone been prescribed the cyclogest? I was told up to 12 weeks after fet.

MariaDingbat · 25/05/2020 20:18

16 weeks.
