Hi, I have got pregnant the next cycle after my chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage. I am currently 4 weeks. I'm very excited but also very anxious because of last time. Anyone in the same situation or has been? Smile

Me! I had a chemical last month unfortunately and couldn’t believe it when I found out 2 days ago that I’m pregnant again.

Exactly 4 weeks today and still taking pregnancy tests haha very happy but extremely nervous!

Best of luck to you over the next few weeks.

hi I'm also 4wks and 2days today x I had a chemical pregnancy a couple moths ago and found out I was expecting again 2days before my period was due continued doing tests since and they seem to have gotten darker which is a relief for now but still extremely scared as I didnt know i had a chemical pregnancy until the day of my private 6week scan. Started bleeding that morning and then they gave me the news that there wasn't any baby 😕 was heartbreaking which is why I'm so scared this time around now and constantly testing every couple days even though I know the hormones will still be in my system if it happened again just so awful having to wait and not know. X

Hey! Congratulations on your pregnancy :)

I had a chemical earlier this year and got a BFP before my AF was next due and I am now 19 + 3.

My friend also got pregnant straight after a chemical and is around 7 weeks so I think it's fairly common :)

I believe your body is more fertile after a loss and obviously straight after birth so hopefully thats what makes it stick :)

Good luck with your pregnancy x

Hi, found this thread. I know its old but How are you all getting on. Chemical miscarriage in july and found out i was pregnant on thursday. Im excited but at times feel overwhelmed with worry of it happening again. Any tips for coping? I keep doing pregnancy tests and the lines arw getting darker. I think im only 3 weeks and 5 days so a long way to go xxx

Firsttimemama2021 · 26/01/2021 12:41

@kent1991 I’m currently 39+2 so waiting on this little girl coming any day now hopefully.

I stressed so much in the beginning and honestly looking back now wish I would have just relaxed and let it go as things will work out how they are supposed to. I just had to remind myself that this is a completely different pregnancy and there is no reason why it would happen again.

If the lines are looking good then that’s a great sign at that stage, I had to stop taking tests after I got to 4/5 weeks as it was driving me crazy. I booked an early scan for when I was 8 weeks which helped me have something to look forward to and gave me some peace of mind.

Congratulations 💕

Congrats!
I had a chemical in october and then got pregnant again straight after in November. Unfortunately that one also turned out to be a chemical (quicker than the previous one). Had a break in December but I'm pregnant again now (Jan) and I've made it to 5 weeks today which is further than the other two so fingers crossed! Lines are so much stronger this time.

Thanks so much for your kind responses now. Ive stopped testing too. @igloo92 I am exactly 5 weeks today too. So hard to keep relaxed but starting to feel positive as i didn't get this far before either. Sending you best wishes x
