Help! Costochondritis at 12 weeks pregnant

Hi all! I'm new on here and it's my first post so go easy on me :)

I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my first baby, had a rough first trimester with constant nausea and sickness but pretty much over it now! Now I have costochondritis to contend with. I've suffered with it for around the last 4 years especially during the summer months while I'm busy at work (I'm a restaurant manager in the Algarve) but usually take some anti inflammatories and something to protect my stomach which usually beds it down to a dull ache.
Now I'm pregnant and can't take the meds, I'm suffering horribly, I've been doubled over in pain on the floor at night at least twice a week for the last few weeks, and only applying ice directly to my ribs to numb them helps me get a bit of sleep. Wondered if anyone else has this and if anyone has any tips?
Can't imagine the next 6 months like this :(
Thanks!
