Swelling/edema bottom of bump

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with twins and for the past few weeks have noticed a swelling at the bottom of my bump. It's sensitive and if you press it leaves an indent. The Dr said that it's just water retention. The very bottom bit looks horrible, like little blisters of water (this may be the indents of stretch marks from my first pregnancy). If I wear sports leggings which are a bit tighter, the little blisters go. Has anybody else experienced this?

Haven’t had it myself but yep, water retention. Unfortunately one of those things you have to put up with - compression can help but it won’t go away until the babies are out. Can be more common if you have pre eclampsia so do make sure you get your BP checks and report any other symptoms you’re worried about. Congrats on your twins!

@TenThousandSpoons0 Thank you for responding - I really hope it does go away after! I've been having my BP done weekly at the hospital and also have a monitor at home and all looks good so fingers crossed it's not related to pre eclampsia.
