So long story short, I work in a hospital, had a turn and went to a&e then found out I was 14 +4 weeks. No one is more surprised than me (other than the midwife who thought I was really early on before the scan) as I had a period 2 weeks ago.
Just wondering when others found out.

That’s amazing! Hope all is well with you and your baby. Congratulations!

I found out really early but was actively TTC.

Oh god! That must be a weird feeling - are you pleased about being pregnant?

Amiz · 16/05/2020 07:43

OH and I are still getting our heads round it but are happy. We only just moved into a bigger house but looks like another move may be on the cards next year

What a shock but glad you're happy with the news! I've always been surprised when some Mum's go to full term without knowing they're pregnant (I know it's rare) but I'm like how did you not know?! Morning sickness (or in my case, all day sickness 🤢), horrendous heartburn and the size of a baby whale - but I know it does happen and obviously everyone's pregnancy is different.
I hope you have a happy and safe pregnancy, congratulations Flowers

Ah, glad you're pleased! Congratulations! I find the early months drag so at least you've got those out of the way!

thatcarolebaskinbitch · 16/05/2020 08:19

Wow congratulations OP, is this going to be your first baby or do you have older DC too?

crazychemist · 16/05/2020 08:21

Congratulations! As @Colouringinbook said, you’ve got the awful early months out of the way! (You can probably hear my envy as I yet again huddle over the loo...)

Is this your first?

Amiz · 16/05/2020 08:25

Nope this is my second. First DC was a bit of a nightmare pregnancy, lots of vomit from 7 weeks through and including labour

Congratulations!! I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 22 weeks x

It's a weird feeling isn't it
