Will my sickness harm my baby?

My first pregnancy sadly ended in mmc so probably overly anxious. I’ve been put on anti sickness meds which have taken the edge off but I’m still vomiting a lot. I’m just worried my baby will not be getting the nutrition they need 😞

I was worried about this as I was very sick weeks 6-10. Midwife was very reassuring that so long as I stayed hydrated and ate enough to avoid ketosis, all would be well. And it was! Baby was ahead of dates by a few days at 12 week scan. Hope you feel better soon x

Babies drain your reserves, so they get all they need but you are run down. Delightful leeches really 😂

I have had HG in my pregnancies, been extremely sick and dehydrated to the point of hospitalisation. Took lots of medicines to help. But both of my DC were good weights when born.

Sorry you are not feeling well, and can understand your anxiety. Hope you feel reassured that sickness won't harm baby though.

The midwife told me that the baby was getting everything she needed, it was me who was suffering. Drink plenty of water and eat little and often.

I vomited every couple of hours from 5 weeks to birth. With the second and third I. An remember cooking something I fancied .. and then turning green when it was time to eat.. lost 2 stone in every pregnancy..

I know it's a worry.. but try not to. Easier said than done I know.
