I managed to avoid stretch marks in my first pregnancy, aside from a few on my hips. This evening the skin across my bump was feeling really sore - just checked and I suddenly have awful, huge red ones right across it 😭 I've just cried all over DH as I'm so fed up and this was the last straw - I'm 35 weeks and have awful pelvic girdle pain, constant thrush throughout, nausea all day almost every day since November, anaemia, and now this. I am so utterly fed up of being pregnant and now I want it to be over so badly I'm worried it's going to affect how I bond with the baby as I'm so down. And to top it all off I'm now going to look hideous afterwards too.

Don,t worry about the stretch marks. There just part of life. Mine aren,t from pregancies but general growth spurts. But yes they can hurt. Not everyone enjoys pregnancy. Creams that are meant to help stretch marks have no proof of working, but some are moisturising so can feel nice. Keep eyes focused on the prize.

Thanks. Have got over the initial shock of the stretch marks (!) but I feel like I'm just existing at the moment - there's so much I could be doing with all this time but I'm feeling too sick / tired / in pain to do any of it, so I just end up sitting around. So fed up!!
