Hi all,

I’m a FTM, 27+6 weeks and for the last few days I’ve had a lot of a pain in my lower stomach/pelvic area when walking around and repositioning myself when sleeping. It’s fine when I’m sat down but the minute I stand up it feels as though everything in that area is being pulled down and very uncomfortable. I’ve also needed to wee far more than usual and I feel a lot of pressure on my bladder. Is this just baby now positioning himself downwards more? Or could it be Pelvic Girdle Pain?

Thanks!

Oh and I’ve been sitting on a birthing ball to relieve the pain and my god it feels amazing!

Sounds like something similar to SPD, but I'm not a doctor. I'd have a chat with your midwife and see what she says. Or, if she can't help, your GP. Preferably speak to them whilst you're sitting on your ball! Keep yourself comfy! 😝
If you haven't already get yourself a pregnancy pillow for when you lie down or go to bed! Mine cost me £45 and was worth every penny! 👍🏻
