Anyone get pregnant in lockdown and worried people will judge?

I'm pregnant after a horrible miscarriage in the first week of lockdown. I just know when we're back in the office there will be comments about how we entertained ourselves in lockdown.

I know it's none of anyone's business but it always worries me what people think. This will hopefully be DC3 so lots of people probably judging that anyway.

DH and I are excited and enjoying our bubble right now, just don't want it to end.

I'm also pregnant with a lockdown baby - pregnant whilst on maternity leave. Babies will be 13 month apart and I'll be back at work 12 weeks between both sets of maternity leave. There'll definitely be comments about it when I get back to work but oh well 🙃

People who make comments will do so whatever the circumstances. If you conceived in february: "must have been a good valentines day". Concieved in December: "had a fun christmas did you". Best just to laugh it off I guess!

Thanks OP 😂 I look 10 years older than I am as they've worn me out but at least my girls have a great bond being so close in age!

I got pregnant just before lockdown. As in I hadn't found out yet but dates wise it was. But I await their comments lol.

@saylor I I've met a woman in an antenatal appointment waiting room who was going to have a 10 month age gap, and within one school year 😳

I'm glad I'm not the only one. May come back to this thread with the best comments when it eventually happens!

I got pregnant the very first week of lockdown 🙉🙊🙈

It's just light hearted jokes. If I said that to someone and they got offended/upset I'd be bewildered tbh.

If it was me I'd turn around and say 'well, there wasnt anything else to do!' Grin

@BeautyAndTheBump1 fair enough but it would really make me squirm!

@gingernutlady congratulations!

My eldest (now adult) DD was conceived straight after a miscarriage. The date of my last period was the miscarriage date.
