Am I feeling the baby?

Hi all,

Im exactly 15 weeks today, I also have a posterior placenta and this is my first baby so all new to me.

So for about three days in a row now I keep feeling a bubbly/ fluttery type feeling going across my lower tummy more to the left side. It feels like little bubbles popping or like a butterfly static feeling (sorry really hard to describe) but its a feeling I’ve never felt before. Am I feeling the baby moving? I thought it may be abit early yet considering this is my first but I’ve read conflicting stories.

Id like to see if anyone else has had the same or could share their experiences?

Thanks ladies Smile

That was my first feeling at 18 weeks. Like a popping, rolling, bubbly feeling.

I felt my baby at 15 weeks 6 days (also my first) and it felt exactly like this! So I would think that is what you’re feeling ☺️

Id say as so.
I never got proper kicks with DS. Was always little flutters or wobbles lower tummy.

I get bubbles and popping and have done since around 13 weeks, but as the weeks have gone I've noticed them more and more. Currently 20 weeks and got my first proper kick yesterday! Eeeekkk!!!
Sounds like you're have a wriggly baby 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Definitely sounds like you're feeling the baby. From about 16 weeks I felt bubbles, and little "flicks" from the inside.

I had a tickle feeling but I had it from around 10 weeks this is my 3rd but I also had the same tickle feeling when I was pregnant with my second I even had it before my 12 weeks scan with second cos I ask the lady and she looked at me like I was mad but I've only ever had the tickle
Feeling when I've been pregnancy so it must have been me feeling the movements

It's not that the baby moves later with your first it's just that a lot of people think it's their heartbeat (which you can feel due to the extra blood going to the area) or wind whereas when its not your first you recognise the feeling-you know it's movements so with a posterior placenta it could be baby moving! My baby started kicking at 17w this time I have a posterior placenta but it is my second! Xx
