Just curious what everyones thoughts on the above is. Currently, pregnant woman fall into the "vulnerable" category and were advised to be extra cautious and limit their social interactions. Do you think this status will change?

I doubt they will.

I doubt it. I'm staying hone regardless though

No I dont think it will change. The original '12 week isolation' advice to pregnant women takes up to a fortnight before my due date so I knew straight away I wouldn't be coming out of lockdown til baby is here. It may be different for those who aren't as far along tho as I think the 'vulnerable' tag relates to those over 28 weeks only now

The RCOG issued a new statement about pregnant women on 17 April. I have attached a screen shot.
We aren't classed as vulnerable if we have no underlying health conditions.
Hope this helps!

My midwife doesn't seem to think so but I'm in the 28 week category. X

Thanks for all your replies. I've found the 28 week advice a little bit unclear until this point - thanks for the screenshot @lockdownpregnancy, it helps. I'm not asking for a particular reason - just curious!

My midwife suggested staying home until baby is born (mid July) and then also staying home and not allowing people round to see baby for 4 weeks minimum.
