Quirky clothes for babies

Hi, buying for a friend due to birth a boy in June. She's got very quirky taste and so looking for something a little different. Mine is 17 so I have no clue where to start. I got given some nice Gap stuff when mine was a baby but they've got very little in stock for 0 to 3 which is what I'm looking for, plus 3 to 6. Cheers!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Any more info on what she likes?

Picalilly sells clothes online that might fit the brief and are very well made.

I've seen ads for kite baby clothes that look lovely and bright! Frugi is a quirky brand too

Spam88 · 07/05/2020 19:30

Have a look on Babi Pur.

I've got nice stuff from the following online retailers: (prices vary but often have sales on)

Tobias and the Bear
Fred & Noah
Kite
Sleep No More
Scamp & Dude

I like the look of littlelovescornwall and rowan and me on Instagram but not ordered from either.

And my favourite high street shop for DS is H&M - good quality, like the style, and come up quite big (important for me!)

I think Babipur are closed at the moment. There is a brand called Duns of Sweden who sell fab things - also Maxomorra. I buy them from a couple of places - Nature’s kids is one shop or Eva’s world is another - just have a google :)

Sexnotgender · 07/05/2020 20:07

Frugi is lovely and a little bit different.

ofwarren · 07/05/2020 20:11

Babipur aren't closed, I ordered from them the other day

sel2223 · 07/05/2020 20:12

Oh and Bonds Wondersuits are fab. Loads of quirky patterns.

Fandoozle1 · 07/05/2020 20:14

Frugi do nice stuff. We were gifted a few bits for baby two years ago and they were lovely.

IKEA888 · 07/05/2020 20:16

frugi is lovely but size down the stuff is massive.
or maybe try someone independent.. like. Big Bums Little bums

mummabubs · 07/05/2020 20:25

Just another option if your budget is a little lower- Blade and Rose (online) is relatively cheap compared to some of the others mentioned here and does a lot of bright colours- so a little quirky without being too out there?

radiall · 07/05/2020 20:39

Thanks for all your suggestions, lots to check out! For starters I got this from Babipur, it could not reflect the mum any more perfectly than it does. She'll love it Smile

Those hats on Blade and Rose! I think I'll have to drip feed my gifts as the seasons change!

I've brought a few things from here all hand made and the quality is fantastic

I’d also check out Etsy, lots of lovely handmade clothes by local sellers and many of them often take custom orders if you have a specific idea in mind. I have an Etsy store (not clothes tho!) and the pandemic has really affected us negatively so would recommend supporting locally if you canSmile

inuinnit · 07/05/2020 22:37

Etsy! Also molo (not cheap but often on sale)
