26 weeks pregnant...how much movement?

Hi everyone,

I'm just under 26 weeks pregnant and wondering what other mummies to be at this stage are feeling? I have been feeling a lot of stronger kicks and movements the last week or so but today not feeling as much (still bits here and there). I have an anterior placenta so not sure if that cushions things but just wondering if it's normal to have very active days and others less active?
Thanks in advance Grin

I'm 27 weeks just past, but movements have been much the same the past few weeks. Baby always seems to be very active in the morning and last thing at night, and a few periods of activity throughout the day too. There definitely seems to be some days where she is a bit quieter, but then the next day she is right back to moving about like mad! Smile

That's totally normal with an anterior placenta.
I've got one too and am 26 weeks today....most days I feel fairly strong and regular movements but every now and then she must change position and I can barely feel a thing. It's a worry.
I had a good 48 hours last week where I couldn't feel anything at all unless I lay completely still for ages and really concentrated. Even then, it was really faint. Guessing she moved again after that as the movements then went back to normal the next day.

Yep I'm the same. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow with an anterior placenta. Some days I feel him moving about all day long and other days it can go hours without feeling him move.

Nearly 28 weeks with an anterior placenta, and same here, sometimes i barely feel her and sometimes i cant ignore her! I work long shifts so its really hard to monitor the movements but as i work in a and e as a nurse ill be moved to a different department from 28 weeks so im going to try monitor them then. I try not to worry but its hard!

Hey it's deffo normal to have days that seem quieter . I'm 28 weeks nearly and have a definite pattern now I'd say, but a week - 2 weeks ago I still had days where I'd hardly feel anything.
I have anterior placenta too.
In the daytime I generally don't feel too much whilst I'm sat working. But feel loads in the morning and at night.

I'm 24 weeks with an anterior placenta and I don't feel movements until an evening when I'm lying down. It can be stressful cos I feel like I need to wait a full 24 hours to feel any movement. I have the odd couple of quiet days too where I don't feel much at all
