Why did I get positives BEFORE I was pregnant?

Hey everyone,

A bit of a strange one.. I'm 26 weeks pregnant currently according to scans and this would make sense going off what my cycle was however about 2 weeks BEFORE I should of got pregnant I was getting positive tests so I'm super confused! So here's the breakdown:

I had a weird bleed the week occurring from the 9th - 11th of November but it was REALLY weird for a period but too heavy to just be spotting.

On the 14th and 15th I took tests (god knows why) and they were VERY weak positives

So I tested on the 16th and it was a little darker however this should of been around the day I conceived rather than got positives.

Have had scans which have predicted I conceived around the 16th and not before

Anyone else had this mystery? I'm only really curious as it doesn't make sense and it's been bugging me ever since and I keep forgetting to ask my midwife.

Weird. The only thing I can think is that you had a chemical the month before and that is what the tests were picking up then you fell pregnant again on this cycle.

I don't think the scans/measurements would consistently be a whole month out (bearing in mind you're normally 4 weeks ish pregnant by the time it shows up on a test.

@Hmg1105 I can't help I'm afraid but you really need to start your own thread. Go to 'talk' and 'pregnancy' and you'll get a list of threads. At the bottom it should say 'add thread' as opposed to 'add post'
