Anyone heard of anywhere that are considering letting birth partners on postnatal ward?

I know there are some letting them on anyway (Stockport Withenshaw and Warrington amongst others) from what I've heard. But just wondering if anyone knows of any trusts that had a ban on them and is now lifting this/considering lifting it.

I had my 34 week appointment with my midwife today and she hinted that changes might be coming to rules regarding birth partners/visiting etc but didn't give anything specific away. She said to wait and see what the plans are to relax lock down which sounds slightly more positive than a no.

Oooh sounds good. I'm 36 weeks and have my C section booked in 20 days! Whereabouts are you if you don't mind me asking? Im finding it mad how different Trusts in different areas are all making really different decisions.

Princess anne in Southampton are letting birth partners on the post natal ward providing the covid swab is negative which is taken at the same time when your partner is swabed on admission for labour/c section

Eeek, hopefully nowhere - unless they are doing as above poster mentioned & testing beforehand.
It gives me the fear thinking about being on the ward with my newborn baby with a weak immune system & being surrounded by people potentially carrying the virus! 🙈

I can't imagine they'll even consider letting loads of people on the wards to just mill around. They'd have to ensure social distancing measures and only allow birth partners near their partner (with curtains closed even?) as opposed to just wandering around the ward.
