7 week scan - which type of twins?

Hi ladies! I had an early dating scan as I had no idea when I had ovulated due to giving up breast feeding and it turns out I'm 7 weeks pregnant with twins!!

Obviously I'll find out at the 12 week scan what kind of twins they are but I'm dyingggg to know and would appreciate your opinions on the scan pic.

My ob-gyn was ill and her replacement deals more with gynecology than obstetrics so although she thought there could be two placentas she really wasn't sure and said she couldn't confirm at this stage.

Congratulations! I always fancied having twins :-). I'm very happy for you and by the time yours are born, hopefully the worst of this pandemic will be over.

I'd say identical because it looks like they're in the same sack x

I'm no expert but it looks like they're sharing a sac which suggests they hatched from the same egg, so to speak. So my guess would also be identical.

Congratulations, I always kinda wanted twins (though as a single parent I also found the idea terrifying lol).

@malysh I'm not a single parent but I still think the idea is terrifying (I already have a 9 month old) 🙈. We're excited but it just seems so crazy
