Hello all, nearly 15 weeks pregnant and started bleeding, clotting and cramping this morning. Losing the baby.
Wondered if anyone else was going throu this horrible awful process right now and wanted to talk? I'm finding the waiting for it all to be over so scary and awful
Sending hugs

Hello. I didn’t want to read and run. I’m not currently going through a miscarriage. I last had one at Christmas. I’m sure you have, but do make sure you get an appointment with epu. You’re a little way along and I think it’s probably best to be checked out.
Sorry that you’re going through this.

I’m so sorry Flowers
I came on to say me! But we’re at very different stages, I’m only 4 weeks and after an early loss last year I feel it’s happening again. My tests are not as strong as they should be and I’m now cramping and bleeding on and off.
Have you been checked out?

Flowers As far as I'm aware, I'm not. But I did miscarry in my first pregnancy. I remember hating the physical bit (although it wasn't as bad in the end as I thought it would be - natural MC the night before I was due to have a D&C). I felt better once the physical side of it was over, but there was a lot of emotional processing to do - I hope you've got lots of support, OP. Have you been to the EPU to confirm that this is an MC?

Thank you all for your replies.....I am so sorry for your losses, it is all so terribly sad.
The EPU can't see me until tomorrow so I sort of feel like I've been left to cope with this on my own. I am finding the physical side of it so tough that I can't even process emotions at the moment. Does anyone know how long the physical side might be? Struggling

Flowers OP.

Bleeding and cramping doesn't always mean miscarriage, but it sounds like you know it's more than that.

There is a Miscarriage board, with lots of general tips, and also people who are going through this at the moment.

The physical side varies from person to person, and depends how developed the baby is. I don't want to scare you, but also want you to be prepared - at 15 weeks it will be more painful to pass everything than at say 6 weeks when people describe it as a heavy period. There will also be a lot of 'stuff'. You should get some codeine, as the pain can get quite bad.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this.

Thank you for your reply @FireflyGirl
I didn't realise there was a miscarriage board,
@MNet please can you move my post over.

That's what I'm dreading is the physical side, really scared. Only taken paracetamol and don't have anything else. Only have one pad left too
