FRERs and their pesky evaps... line eyes?!

Morning everyone... I posted in Conception but to no avail so will have a go on this board :)
9dpo today.. yes I am a notorious early tester.
Have attached original and tweaked photo.
Line is quite prominent at the top which I haven’t had before which made me question whether this is real or just an evap...
FWIW, I have a stark white IC.
Don’t wanna get my hopes up as what I’ve been on here, people have lovely lines at just 9dpo.

I can see a pink line in the second. If it's pink it shouldn't an evap. You need to test in a couple days if you are pregnant it will be darker definitely!

I can see something but what I would say is that I had really dark evap lines on FRER many many times and IME it was very clear when it was a true line there was no denying it even when light it was definitely pink. All you can do is wait and test again. Good luck!

Thanks for replying ladies! The colour thing is throwing me also. I want to retest in the morning but don’t want to be disappointed! May try and hold off until Wednesday.
I have cramps and nausea but tbh that could also be AF related. Really don’t wanna get my hopes up too much as have been TTC since Jan 2019.. but I really can’t help it!

So took another test this morning with FMU.. got up and had a wee at about half 3 so that’s the excuse I’m telling myself..
Looks like I am not pregnant, I have a bad case of the evaps :(

There is a faint line there.... I would be so surprised if you had 3 EVAPS, that would be really bad luck... x

I can see a faint line in today's. Looks slightly darker than yesterday? I'd say the line is in the right place so unlikely to be evap line both days. How soon do you see the line appear?

There's a line. I've never had an evap on a frer before . I think you are pregnant and will get a darker line in 2 days. There is 100% a second line.

I'm sorry to be the party pooper but I've had sooo many evaps on FRER, exactly the same I've posted pictures and people have sworn they are bfps. They are terrible for them. I really hope that's not the case but don't want the PPs to give you false hope like I experienced x

I had what I thought to be an evap line, I was a bit too early to be testing and the line didn't come up in the time window. I threw the test in the bin after about 15 minutes of staring hoping for a line then cried myself to sleep lol. For some reason I got it back out the bin in the morning and there was a strange looking line! But it had colour! I'm now 28 weeks pregnant.

I can deffo see colour and very faint lines in your pictures. Don't give up hope 💐

@BabyB19 are you sure you were not pregnant but it was an early loss? As that's more likely. A lot of women say they have had Evaps or false positives when it was a a chemical pregnancy.
If not, then I'm shocked as I thought frers were the best for not having Evaps!

@ohgodhelpme unfortunately they are renowned for them give it a google. Super clear lines there but they were just indents/evaps. I've currently 24 weeks with my second viable pregnancy MMC and have taken HUNDREDS of tests so know exactly what I'm looking for. With a FRER if there is no clear pink colour to it it's very possibly an evap/indent. I reckon I probably have a good 10-15 of them that gave me false hope with clear lines. There are so many complaint threads about them x

@turtletum yep it came up in 3 mins, I have to put a timer on my phone and put the test down otherwise I will stare it out 😂

I have come CBs coming today. 2 normal and a digi. Went with that as I was so hopeful yesterday that I convinced myself I’d need a digi by the end of the week.. and it was cheaper to get a bundle!

Maybe a different test will give me confirmation whether FRER was tricking me or not .. but I do now have blue dye to contend with!

Just an update if anyone is interested.. started to get brown CM. So I guess AF is on her way 4 days early.
I would love to think it’s implantation bleeding but I think it’s a urban myth haha.
