Hi, I’m sorry to be straight to the point but I am very concerned. I am 4 + 3 and today after a bm there was some light pink blood on the tissue from vagina. Was v light pink. This also happened 6 days ago after bm. I have experienced 3 previous miscarriages so very afraid that this is the start of my third loss. Has anyone else experienced this at all. I’ve googled it and it mentions can happen if you strain but that was not the case for me.

Hey, I know there are different outcomes when it comes to bleeding in early pregnancy. But I just wanted to let you know that this happened to me at 5 weeks then 7. Now 17 weeks.

I had an early scan at 7.5weeks as I told my midwife at my booking appointment but that was pre Covid so I’m not sure they would see you now for a scan for minor spotting. Maybe ring your GP for advice to ease your mind?

It may reassure you to have a google of a diagram of how close the colon is to the cervix’s the cervix can be really sensitive at this stage due to all the extra blood rushing around, the bowel movement can irritate the cervix and flush out old or a bit of new blood.

Hope you’re ok Flowers

I remember I had this early on, probably around 6 weeks. Was just after I'd had BM and I remember worrying and didn't want to ever have a BM again in case it did it again.
I think I had it for a couple of days then it went, I'm 27 weeks now.
As id had previous MC I had early scan at EPU to put my mind at ease.
Hope everything is okay for you, the early weeks are torture aren't they , especially after previous MC 😘

I had 3 pregnancies where this was diagnosed as a cervical ectropion and a healthy baby at the end of it and 1 that ended in miscarriage. I will keep everything crossed for you. It's so scary. Do you have the number of the EPU? Maybe you could give them a ring? Best of luck.

I also had this and it was due to a cervical as PP mentioned. I am now 38 weeks. As others have said, maybe try and get a scan with EPU for reassurance. Good luck Flowers
