Hey everyone! I downloading the 'what to expect book' on a few recommendations and am not really loving it! Can anyone recommend any good pregnancy reads, that they really liked?! Xxx

I really liked Holly Willoughby’s book. It was an easy read that was very much along the lines of ‘this worked for me but other people find x y and z works for them.’ She wasn’t pushing any specific kind of parenting, it just covered a lot of the basics and I found the part that explains what it can be like post birth to be very accurate. Some will knock it because it’s a celebrity book, but I definitely preferred a book written by someone who’s had three children and three different birth and baby experiences, with input from professionals where appropriate to a dry book that’s written by someone trying to push a ‘my way is the best way because’ rhetoric.

For pregnancy, I am absolutely living by Expecting Better. Then for once the baby is born I’ve got The New A to Z by Michel Cohen and French Children Don’t Throw Food by Pamela Druckerman.
