Are they still going ahead? What do they usually do at this appointment? I will obviously check beforehand if I need to attend or not, I don't want to miss any important checks as it seems a long time since I've seen my midwife!

Hi, I think it depends on your area/Trust. Mine still went ahead although I did call first to check. I was only allowed into the appointment on my own. The midwife was fully kitted out in PPE. She took my urine sample to check for protein and then tested my blood pressure, asked me how I was getting on and then lastly did a check of the bump and I heard baby’s heartbeat. She counted baby’s heart rate and also checked my own beats per min. I think some people also have the bump measured at that appointment but the midwife at mine advised that she would be measuring and charting the bump at my next appointment at 28 weeks.
Hope that’s helpful! Smile

Hi @PoodlesAreMySpiritAnimal thanks for the reply, I've just checked the appointment and it's not until 18/05 and I'm 24 weeks today so it's a bit delayed as it is so I hope it still goes ahead. I'm pretty sure all is ok as I feel sick as a pig today as it seems the baby is doing forward rolls in there 🤣 good luck with your pregnancy ❤️
