As my nickname suggests, this is my first baby and so I have nothing to compare my experience to.
I am 10+4 today and my first scan is in 12 days time. I haven't told my friends or family about my pregnancy yet, as I want to wait until my 12 week scan and be sure all is OK first. So, I can't really chat to anyone about what I'm going through - Mumsnet has really been invaluable!
For the last 1 and a half to 2 weeks approximately, my symptoms have been here one day, less so the next (have previously been suffering with nausea, extreme fatigue, breast soreness and food aversions every day or every other day). Definitely in the last 3-4 days, my symptoms seem to have almost vanished, bar the occasional whiff of something that still makes me wretch, or sore boobs first thing in the morning.
I mean, I am pleased I feel more human, but it does make you worry.
I've heard the placenta can start taking over around this time, which might be what's happening to me, but I just wanted some reassurance from you guys to see if this sounds normal? I've had no spotting, cramping, pain etc - totally A-OK. Thoughts?
