Constant tightness/ soreness in top of bump

Getting a bit nervous about this now. Had a midwife appointment yesterday at about 2.30pm, everything was fine (I'm 28 weeks). Then from about 4pm until now (4am) the top of my bump has been really tight and hard! I initially thought I was just coming down from stress (I'd been really worried about the appointment, just because I haven't had one for ages due to lockdown) but I don't think that's the case any more.

Is the top of my bump where my stomach is now? Could it be related to that? I don't think it's BH because it's constant. Did a tiny poo yesterday so was wondering if it could maybe be constipation, but that hasn't been a problem at all so far...

Not sure what to do! Managed to sleep for 3 hours but it's woken me up at 3am hurting. Any advice would be really, really appreciated!! Smile

Phone your midwives, it’s what they are there for.
It could be ligament pain but it’s worth speaking to them

My guess would be it's babys pushing you there, my daughter constantly sat under my ribs and i physically has to hold her bum down with my hand.

Like pp said I would ring the midwife if I was in constant discomfort and just get checked

@MrsCl19 I think you might be right there, I've been noticing a lot more movement happening higher up suddenly! And maybe that's stretching out the top of the bump.

Being pregnant is mad isn't it. All your organs have moved and you don't know how to properly identify lots of things!!
