Hi. I've been looking at the angelcare movement monitors and I'm just not sure. Wondered if people had particularly strong opinions or previous experience? Everyone else we know has the bt 6000 monitor and seems to really like it. Any advice/opinions welcome. Thank you in advance.

Why do you need to waste money on this? Just count the movements and note them down.

Mucklove - it's a cot movement monitor for once the baby is born.

We had the angel care - it was excellent and I found it very reassuring. If I had my time again, I'd get one with video as well for when the baby moves in to their own room.

We have the bt 6000.

We had to send first one back to John Lewis as it developed a pixl line across it. They replaced it no issue.

It's a great colour picture in daylight. We find night time a bit fuzzier. Not as sharp. The lullaby's on it are quite tinny sounding and there isn't a very quiet setting so we don't use them. But you can talk to the baby through the monitor, can move the camera from the monitor, can set alarms to wake you and set the screen to go dark at night and it only pings back on when baby makes noise. The sound is very sensitive which is a good thing. Battery life isn't great on monitor but we mostly have it plugged in anyway.

We do really like it and it gives us peace of mind.
