Can pregnancy cause food intolerances /tummy issues?

Hi!

I’m 25 weeks tomorrow and usually in good health, no issues around food normally, but since being pregnant it seems like I’ve had one thing after another that hasn’t agreed with me and leaves me sat on the toilet and/or vomiting!

It has been particularly bad in 2nd trimester.

I did have HG up until around 16/17 weeks, and since that has stopped there have been around 5 or 6 instances when I’ve ate my tea or had a meal and a few hours later my stomach is churning and gurgling and I sometimes need to run to the loo. It’s never the same food each time so I’ve got no idea what the trigger is!

I’m sat here once again with a horrid churning stomach feeling like I’m about to vom an hour after my tea.

Has anyone had similar issues? I’ve got a midwife appointment Thurs so will mention it then.
