Hi all this is my first post - I had my test (7 of them) two days ago to confirm what I already know, I am pregnant, one thing that's changed in the last week is that my appetite has gone completely... is this normal? I know I have to eat and I think I should be hungry - but for the life of me I just can't bear to eat anything! Also I am constantly crying at adverts haha ... but yea the no appetite thing-- is that even a thing? Please help

It's very normal. In the early stages of my pregnancy I couldn't stomach anything. I ate what I wanted (within reason) and just made sure I was drinking enough.
Im 22 weeks now and still have days where I have absolutely no appetite

I went through phases where I was a food fiend and then just didn't want to eat anything.
Im 18 weeks now and still going strong with wanting to eat all the time! 😂
If you cannot eat anything at all, or can't hold anything down when you do and you get concerned then have a chat with your GP or MW.

Urgh I am just going through a whirlwind of everything not being normal - that being sad it's going to be an exciting time ahead! Thank you ladies

Completely normal...was having to force feed myself which got very boring. Dropped 7lbs in weight purely from not eating enough. Just make sure you're taking your pregnancy vitamins and drinking plenty of water...my midwife wasn't overly concerned and just advised me that when I did it, to make sure it was nutritional as otherwise I'd feel rubbish. She said it wouldn't have any effect on the baby as they take everything from your stores.
