Hi!
In my notes it states I have an anterior placenta. I had one in my last pregnancy but my scan picture attatched looks like my placenta is on the right side and totally different to my last baby scan?
Can anyone advise?

I have no idea when it comes to looking at scan pics but I do know that anterior literally just means that the placenta is somewhere on the front....so it can be high low, central or on the left or right.
It could be in a different place this pregnancy but still anterior if that makes sense?

@sel2223 ahhhhh ok that makes sense!
My last scan pic the placenta was right over the baby's head like hanging down haha.
To me this looks posterior when I've compared it to other scan pics but I'm no sonographer haha so just curious! Thanks!
